Enable the understanding of the metabolic behavior of micro-organisms ecosystem (microbiomes), in order to better decipher how to make them evolve towards the production of metabolites of interest in food, health, and environment sectors.

Job description
Your responsibilities :
- Take an active part in the choice of technologies and software architecture.
- Understand the business needs & constrains from different clients / industries.
- Develop features with a high quality code : documented, maintainable, scalable.
- Design and develop efficient user interfaces based on UX Design principles
- Be proactive and innovative in features analysis and design.
- Set up and promote the best software development practices within the team : code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting...
Quality and DevOps principles are at the heart of our project you will contribute to build. You will part of a dynamic team who as an agile organization, and whose members have rich profiles in science (Bio-informatician, data scientist, biologist), in technics (DevOps), and in web development. We have a partial remote organisation.
Required profile :
You master the following skills and technologies :
You have a 3+ years professionnal experience as a Frontend Software Engineer. You have experience with software architecture and are user experience-oriented. Experience with maps visualisation and graph-structured data representation would be a plus. Ideally, you well understand backend constraints and are able to write API queries.
- Frameworks react, vue. js, or angular.
- Use and conception of RESTful API, GraphQL and/or gRPC.
- Automation of quality control, CI/CD
- Monitoring and alerting
- Package managers NPM/Yarn
- Git (or another version control system)
- Agile software development. Fluent English is required.
- Good knowledge of French would be a plus.
